TIPPERARY CHALLENGE CUP 2011
SUNDAY 9TH JANUARY 2011
GAA CENTRE, WESTERN ROAD, CLONMEL @ 12.30pm
Tipperary County Darts Board wishes to announce that there will be a new procedure for entry into the 2011 Tipperary Challenge Cup.
Pre-Tournament entry will now apply. Entry forms will be made available through committee members and a downloadable version will follow shortly on the website.
The closing date for return of these forms and entry fee by post to the Hon. County Secretary, Mr Martin Sheehan, will be Friday 17th December. The forms and entry fee may also be handed in on Sunday 19th December to any committee member at The Lady Gregory Pub- Kilmoyler Cahir during the Annual Lady Gregory singles tournament.
The Draw for the Challenge Cup will take place on this date at the above venue so all teams involved will know their opponents and time slot for the day of the tournament.
This is the only possible entry route to the challenge cup as entries will NOT be accepted after the 19th December.
Having the draw made prior to the event will allow teams to pre plan for the day with time slots being allocated for play.
On the day of the event first darts are away at 12.30pm Sharp and those teams involved in round 1 of play must ensure that ALL players are present at the venue no later than 12.45pm as games will not be delayed to facilitate late arrivals.
Failure to have all players present will result in a team having to forfeit a game and maybe cost them the match.
This will also ensure the smooth running of our Premier Cup event and a reasonable finish time for all players on the day.
This new format will be strictly adhered too. You have been informed.
