The new County Ladies team Manager.Willie Cronin,would like the opportuniy to thank the outgoing manager ,Dinger Murphy,for the timely notice of his appointment.

"Despite the brief notice of my appointment I am confident that the groundwork laid by the previous manager with my involvement, will have a sucessful tournament at this years All-Ireland Championship.I would Like to thank Dunnis Merphy for dropping me in it two weeks before the biggest tournament of the year, handing me the the most promising squad yet to go to Castlebar,with me thinking all I had to do was order the shirts and get the girls drinks on the saturday.Now I have to go to Mayo worried about results and where cetain women are when their games are called,and I thought this management stuff was suposed to be fun!
