NEW COMERS HOLD THEIR OWN
IN PREMER LEAGUE EAST


Kate Ryan's B the new
team to this division have made a brilliant start to their league campaign standing on top of the group with a four point advantage over Figerty's bar and five over close rivals the local bar.Kate,s travelled to the local Friday night last with a two point advantage on the clonmel summer league champions who beat Kate B in the final the local took the first doubles with Kate B hitting back with the next two.Jimmy hannigan stepped up to make it 2-2 after the first single Mick O'Connell for the local took the next game for the lead of 3-2 but that was to be all The Local were to get as Kate,s took the next 4 games with wins for Andrew Lawlor,Kenny Brannigan, Eddie O'Donnell and John Paul Byrnes took the last to leave the final score at 6-3 score line to the Kate,s men
Figerty's took on last year s champions and started by taking the first doubles with Mark Power and John Butler out scoring Zeb Butler and Archie Morrissey . the County Champs hit back in style taking the next five games spearheaded by Bernard Barry , Zeb Butler and Archie Morrissey .It was then the turn of Figerty's to stop the night getting worse and that they did when  Noel butler took the next game with great darts.Next was David Butler who overpowered Antony Power to make the match 5-3 going into the last game with Mark Power playing a good game for Figerty's taking the last to push them in to second place in the table and  leave the score 5-4 on the night,
Maudies hosted Ambys of Balingarry with the Rathgormack men coming out on top against a team who would have been favourites to win the division at the start of this season

The Forge Bar of Emly beat Feehans of Cashel with a 8-1 result on the night .The other games in the group saw Chrissie's of Clonmel travel to Brosnans of Cashel with the Clonmel men piping it with a 5-4 win .The last game of the group paired The Lady Gregory  and The Shamrock both of Cahir play a one sided affair with the 2004 champions producing the form that won them that title and send out a warning to the others in the division that their in it for the long haul and will be their to the end pushing all the way.This win moves them to second place in the division.

Congrates to Pat [Chiz] Reynolds on retaining his Emily County Masters title on a good days turn out that saw new comer Tom Ivors make the final again falling at the finish to the power play of one Chiz Reynolds.This week see's the Carrick-On-Suir Masters take place in Crokes Bar on Sunday register eforer 3:30pm  $10:00  entry games to start at approx 4:O clock open to registered Tipperary League players or throwers who are not county tied to any other county
